ABOUT
I'm a content designer with a technical foundation and an HCI master's, which is a long way of saying I like the parts of this job where language meets system behavior.
Most of my work sits at the intersection of writing, interaction design, and information architecture. I define content patterns, untangle interaction flows, and make complex systems feel legible. I partner closely with Product, Design, Research, and Engineering — translating messy requirements into frameworks teams can actually ship against. When the content is right, everything downstream gets easier.

Outside of work, I'm reading about AI design trends, hiking somewhere with no signal, or losing to a K-drama plot twist. My Korean is lousy. My Spanish is less lousy. I am an Oxford comma stan.

HOW I WORK
A process that works in practice.
Four stages I rely on across every project, whether it's a 340-string content matrix or a single voice prompt that has to get the tone exactly right.
01
Audit the system, not strings.
Map surfaces, inventory content, and find the patterns no one has named yet. Before I rewrite, I want to see the whole thing.
02
Define the content model.
Voice, tone, structural patterns, naming, error + empty + loading states. Writing becomes much faster once the model is right.
03
Draft, test, defend.
Prototype in real UI. Run usability tests. Bring data and rationale to the review — not just preferences.
04
Ship, measure, maintain.
Instrument outcomes, task success, ticket volume, sentiment. Build the guardrails that keep quality high.
TOOLS & SPECIALTIES

Excerpts from LinkedIn recommendations and internal kudos. Happy to connect you with references directly.
"Working with Nikita was both inspiring and a joy. She was always the hardest worker in the room and a mentor to her peers. Her ability to coordinate with high-value stakeholders in the company and translate technical ideas into easy-to-follow documents set examples for how I approach my work to date."
"Nikita translated our requirements, which involved gathering input from many stakeholders and sources, into understandable and practical documents that are critical to our team and licensed personnel. I highly recommend her as a skilled team player who cares about providing the best product on time, every time."
